NDTec R
NDTec R is developed for inspections where documentation and precision are as important as the observation itself. A 7" Full HD IPS touch display with up to 1920×1080 pixels, electromechanical joystick and quick tool-free probe exchange make the R an efficient tool for aviation, energy production, the shipping industry and quality assurance. WiFi and Bluetooth are built in as standard, and Stereo 3D measurement is available as an option.
Large Screen, Wireless Connectivity and Precise Control
The 7" high-contrast IPS display delivers razor-sharp images with exceptional colour accuracy, and the icon-based touch interface provides direct access to inspection and measurement software. The electromechanical joystick gives precise and smooth control of the probe tip for thorough inspection in confined and hard-to-reach areas. LED technology and high-power light guide cables ensure excellent visibility in dark inspection environments. For field collaboration, live images can be transferred wirelessly via Bluetooth or mini-HDMI to a smartphone, tablet or external screen. The unit has internal storage, SD card slot, USB-C port with charging support, two USB-A ports and a headset or microphone input. The battery has built-in charge indicators and charges directly via USB-C. The probe range covers diameters from 0.85 to 8.4 mm and lengths from 1 to 15 metres.
Stereo 3D Measurement for Objective Documentation
With Stereo 3D measurement as an option, the NDTec R can measure cracks, wear depths, corrosion extent, gap widths and edge displacement numerically and directly on screen – using stereoscopic CMOS sensors and advanced image software. Results are presented as rotatable 3D point clouds that provide a complete picture of the defect’s size and extent. Objective measurement data reduces the risk of subjective misjudgements, makes re-inspections less frequent and simplifies reporting and historical comparison over time. The R is a natural choice where traceability and strict documentation requirements apply.
