Technical Information
Designed, engineered, and manufactured on-site, MarineNav’s Oceanus Pro Classic ROV weighs only 17.91 kg (39.5 Lb) and measures 605 mm (23.82") in length. It features a rugged core construction of marine-grade anodized aluminum and other marine-grade components. The ROV is easily deployed and operated by one person and can be flown in fresh or salt water, in temperatures ranging from 0-50°C (32-122°F). The Oceanus Pro Classic has been independently certified to operate to a maximum standard depth of 400 m (1312 ft). Repeated dives to depths of 400m (1312 ft) require an optional system upgrade.
Six Thrusters
Six vectorized thrusters provide powerful thrust performance delivering top speeds of up to 5 knots with the ROV capable of vertical depth and horizontal lateral movement (auto depth, heading hold, and ROV stabilize modes are standard features). A full HD 1080p internal front camera with camera tilt of +/- 180° pitch (vertical rotation), a one-touch video record function with overlay feature, and four front-facing 1500 Lumen lights ensure the ability to capture brilliant video without interruption of piloting the ROV system.
Standard Configuration
STANDARD DEPTH RATING OF OF 400m (1312 ft).
The Oceanus Pro Classic ROV is independently certified to a depth of 400m (1312ft). Repeated dives to depths beyond 300m require an optional system upgrade.
MAXIMUM SPEED OF 5 KNOTS
Maximum speed test performed with the ROV fitted with an optional performance float block. (ROV ballast weights and accessories were not included when the ROV speed test was conducted).
ROV DRY WEIGHT OF 17.91 kg (39.5 Lb)
Dry weight does not include the ROV ballast weights, the tether whip, the ROV tether and any ROV accessory.
LATERAL AXIS ROV MOVEMENT
An unparalleled control system and superior thruster performance deliver fully vectorized ROV maneuverability, control ROV depth, horizontal and lateral movement. ROV flight controls include auto-depth, heading hold and ROV stabilize modes.
1080P HD VIDEO
A high-definition camera with +/- 180° tilt functionality provides stunning image captures. 120° field of view and camera focus range from the face of the housing dome to infinity with manual control.
FOUR ROV AUX PORTS
Capable of Ethernet / 12VDC / 24VDC / Manipulato rOptional available system upgrades: Optional dedicated DVL port / Optional external camera port.
FOUR 1500 LUMEN FRONT LIGHTS
Four front-facing ROV lights with phased brightness control when using topside Flight Control System software or with button commands through the Oceanus joystick/hand-held controller (v3.0).
OCEANUS JOYSTICK/HAND-HELD CONTROLLER (v3.0)
Manufactured from marine-grade aluminum, the joystick/hand-held controller features 16 integrated function keys, a conveniently positioned thumbwheel and a hall-effect joystick that controls essential ROV functions.

PORTABLE IP-RATED TOPSIDE ROV CONTROL CASE
With an exterior measurement of 508mm/20.0" (L) x 355.6mm/14.0" (W) x 203.2mm/8.0" (H) and weighing 19.41 kg (42.8 Lb) the IP-rated topside case functions as the operational hub of the Oceanus Pro Classic ROV system.

18.5" TFT active matrix panel, 1600 nits brightness (full daylight readable), 1024 x 786 resolution.
INDUSTRIAL COMPUTER AND 1TB SOLID-STATE DRIVE TOPSIDE
The topside control case features an i7 industrial computer and a large built-in 1TB SSD which stores hours of content.
TOUCH-SENSITIVE USER INTERFACE
Our proprietary Flight Control System software user interface is a touch-sensitive array of command modules that display all essential ROV functions on a secondary 10.1-inch TFT touch active matrix panel (1000 nits brightness, full daylight readable, 1280 x 800 resolution).
ON-SCREEN DISPLAY (OSD)
Real-time data includes recording time, voltage, water temperature, depth, and date/time stamp. Heading and attitude are overlaid or embedded with video. Custom user input lines are available. When paired with an accessory, GPS coordinates are displayed as an overlay option, with an enabled data entry field. The addition of a customized logo is available as an optional upgrade.
OCEANUS MULTIPORT
Our Oceanus Multiport communication system allows rapid integration of third-party accessories, software and external processors.
HDMI VIDEO OUTPUT
Share streaming data captured by the ROV onboard camera to an external HD monitor by conveniently connecting via the topside HDMI video out port.
WIRELESS BROADCASTING FEATURE
ROV pilot can share streaming video to multiple parties with access to web-enabled devices via a simple built-in interface.
